Learning Differently Together

Lucky 13’s is a co-designed, card-based learning programme created to make education more accessible, practical and engaging for neurodiverse learners.

Delivered as a regular pack of visual, creative prompts—from rhythm and rhyme to lyric-writing and aspirational themes—it puts learning directly into people’s hands and supports different ways of thinking, making and progressing.

At its heart, Lucky 13’s is a curriculum you can put in your back pocket. Learners can choose a card, follow a prompt, combine ideas and remix the material in ways that fit their own interests, energy and pace. There is no single route through it, and no expectation that everyone learns in the same way.

The cards use familiar cultural forms—music, language, storytelling, drawing and play—to make learning feel relevant rather than imposed. They create a low-pressure way into reading, writing, communication and reflection, while recognising that creativity is often where confidence begins.

Lucky 13’s shifts learning away from what people cannot do and towards what helps them engage. It gives learners practical tools to build agency: to make choices, express ideas, practise skills and see themselves as active participants in their own education.
