Rexler
Style that Sustains People and the Planet

Rexler was conceived as a sustainable fashion label with a wider idea of what sustainability could mean. Alongside responsibly sourced materials and considered production, it asked how a retail business might create lasting opportunity for people facing challenging circumstances.
Developed with musician, actor and filmmaker Plan B (Ben Drew), Judah Armani and Lizzie Burns, Rexler set out a blueprint for a fashion ecosystem in which ethics extended beyond the garment. The shop itself was imagined as a place of employment, learning and progression: a route into meaningful work for people often excluded from it.
Rexler treated fashion as a cultural force with responsibilities—to the environment, certainly, but also to the people who make, sell and wear the clothes. Sustainability was not a label attached to a product; it was a commitment to human dignity, fair opportunity and more thoughtful ways of doing business.
The project proposed that style and social purpose need not be separate. A truly sustainable fashion future, Rexler argued, is one that values materials, creativity and people in equal measure.
